Illustrator Windows

    Download and extract the ZIP

    Close Illustrator, then extract all files into a folder.

    Double-click Install-KOSANA3D.cmd

    Read the prompt and click Yes. The installer copies the panel for your current user account.

    Open the panel in Illustrator

    Go to Window → Extensions → KOSANA3D Plugin. Drag the tab to dock it at the side.

Select only the artwork you want to send. For lettering, use text or closed vector shapes with a fill. Lightboxes and sign stands receive a preview image; choose the specific style on the website.

Illustrator macOS

    Run the Mac installer

    Open Terminal, type bash followed by a space, then drag Install-Panel.command into the window. Press Enter, read the prompt and type YES.

    Open the panel in Illustrator

    Go to Window → Extensions → KOSANA3D Plugin.

The macOS package has not yet been tested on a physical Mac. Compatibility depends on your Illustrator and macOS versions.

    Download and extract the ZIP

    Keep all the extracted files together in one folder.

    Double-click Install-CorelDRAW.cmd

    The installer prepares the files in LOCALAPPDATA/KOSANA3D-Plugin. Administrator privileges are not required.

  3. 03

    Import the module in CorelDRAW

    In the VBA Editor, choose File → Import File… and select Kosana3DPlugin.bas from the folder shown by the installer. Save the project.

VBA is required, and you must import the module manually the first time. You can assign SendToKosana3D / SendLightboxToKosana3D / SendStandToKosana3D to toolbar buttons. This version is a macro, not a dockable panel.

Photoshop Windows

Send a composite of visible layers to a lightbox or sign stand, with sign dimensions rounded to whole centimetres.

    Open Photoshop and send the image

    Go to Window → Extensions (Legacy) → KOSANA3D Plugin. Choose Lightbox or Sign stand, then send.

Requires Photoshop for Windows with Extensions (Legacy) support. It sends the whole document using visible layers, not only the selected layer. Sending vector lettering is not supported.

    Prepare your artwork

    In Illustrator or CorelDRAW, select the objects you want to send. In Photoshop, open your document and make the required layers visible.

  2. 02

    Send it to KOSANA3D

    In Illustrator, choose lettering, Lightbox or Sign stand. In Photoshop, choose Lightbox or Sign stand, then send; the website opens automatically. In CorelDRAW, run the macro, then click Send on the handoff page.

  3. 03

    Check the size and start building

    The website receives your artwork and dimensions. If you have an existing design, it asks before replacing it. Check the dimensions, then choose a style, materials and construction. Sent images appear on the sign face.

GOOD TO KNOW

Images, dimensions
and updates

Photoshop sends a PNG with a longest side of 768, 1024 or 2048 px, depending on your selection. Images are limited to 4 MB and may be reduced further when needed. Transparency is supported. Sign dimensions are calculated from the document resolution and rounded to whole centimetres: for example, 300.0079 × 199.9996 cm becomes 300 × 200 cm. The original document is not changed.

Illustrator sends vectors with millimetre dimensions for lettering, or preview images for lightboxes and sign stands. Web images are for previews; use your original artwork for production printing. Read the sign artwork guide (Thai).

The Illustrator and Photoshop panels check their own plugin version. When a newer version is available, an Update button opens the download page. Updating the website does not automatically install plugin updates on your computer.

Download the package for your application and operating system again, close the application, then reinstall. For CorelDRAW, also replace the existing module in the VBA Editor.
